Healthy Tartar Sauce
Certain things just have to go together for me, and since I'm making fish for supper tonight, there has to be tartar sauce. Today I'm going to give you my recipe for probiotic tartar sauce!
You will need...
1 cup of healthy mayo (I make my own mayo or use avocado oil mayo from Costco)
1 large fermented dill pickle, finely diced or 1/4 cup fermented dill pickle relish
1 1/2 tbsp dried minced onion (or you can use fresh)
1 large clove garlic, minced finely (I like to grate it on a microplane)
2 tsp finely chopped preserved lemon (or use a tbsp of lemon juice)
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together and allow to sit in the fridge a few hours for the flavours to meld into one creamy bowl of deliciousness!
